Dear Jude,
Thank you for reaching out to me and talking to me on Monday.  Your words helped me and comforted me.  After speaking to you I felt a sense of peace wash over me.  You made me see that I was holding onto the negative things  with tenacity, instead of focusing on the love.  I thought about that realized that you were right.  I was thinking about a few of illness and forgetting about the years of love, happiness and laughter.  I decided to change my thinking.
That night I had such a beautiful dream of Vixen.  I could actually feel the weight of her as I held her, and I could even smell her.  She always smelled so good!  After this dream I felt fulfilled and peaceful.  It was as if Vixen came to me to tell me that she's okay and that I should be okay too.  I believe that you were right when you said that Vixen would say, 'My mommy has got it now." I think I do finally 'have it'.  My thinking has changed.
I want you to know that your gave me a great thought which I had never considered before:  Just as Vixen the reindeer was on a mission, so was my cat Vixen.  Her mission was to do her earthly work of bringing love and joy to us and then return to God when He called home because her mission was completed.  I will cherish this beautiful thought and allow it to continue to bring me comfort.
Enclosed is a picture of Vixen.  You may keep it.
I have also enclosed a donation for you so that can continue to do all of the wonderful work that you do.
Thank you for being there.  You saved me.  I will be in touch.
Sincerely.
